Robert Mattson
Hi, I'm Robert Mattson and I'm an actor with a voice not a voice that does acting, if you get my meaning. I've been on stage, in studios, and behind (and in front of mics) for over 30 years. I've voiced giant killer plants, boys learning to play golf, vigilante anti-heroes, world-traveling adventurers, the guy next door, founding fathers, kings, announcers, and the voice of countless business people.
But what makes me different from other VO artists that you might work with is that I've been in your shoes. As a ex marketing executive at high tech companies I know what's it's like to have a project with a deadline and a boss or CEO that's breathing down your neck to get something done quickly, on budget, and most importantly end up with something you want to put your name on. I'm also a gear geek, so I can edit and post process audio if that's something you need as well.
Besides that I'm a dad, photographer, video guy, marketing consultant, storytelling coach, singer, and playwright. I live in Upton, MA which is about 7 miles from where the Boston Marathon starts.
